AGARTALA, July 2 (TIWN): ADC ruling Tipra Motha party is receiving massive support statewide. In such a move, at least 1,800 families joined Tipra Motha party from IPFT party on Saturday in Agartala.

The program was conducted in Agartala Town Hall. Tipra Motha supremo Pradyot Manikya was present in the program and welcomed the new party members.

Addressing media, Pradyot Manikya said, “We are not against anyone but we unitedly will take our Tipraland movement forward”.

On being asked about whether Mebar Jamatia will join Tipra Motha or not, Pradyot Manikya said, “Nobody with MLA post or any post in Govt will be accepted in our party. One has to cut the relation with the Govt because the Govt is not accepting our demands”.

Over 8,000 voters have joined Tipra Motha party today.
