AGARTALA, July 1 (TIWN): Model state Tripura reels under miseries in various areas. Reportedly, Kanai Halam Para area's People including St. Joseph ST Girls Boarding have been suffering from extreme Power cuts and drinking water crisis for a long time. Centering this the students including local people blocked the road.

The matter was reported to the higher local authorities several times but nothing has been done. Seeing no option the students blocked the road on Friday raising demand to resolve the extreme Power cut and drinking water crisis issues.

The local people including the St. Joseph ST Girls' Boarding student stated that if the burning issues in the area are not fixed then in the coming days they will go for a massive protest.

Now, it has remained to be seen whether the local leaders and Higher Authority will be able to resolve the issue or not.
