AGARTALA, June 17 (TIWN): A small shop in Aralia area of Sonamura was burnt to ashes. The fire incident took place around 1 pm on Friday.

The fire was primarily spotted by local people and within a short period of time the fire engulfed the entire shop. The shop owner was Chan Mia and the shop in his house, it is known the shop was his only source of income. 

The damage amount is estimated to be 4-5 lakhs of rupees. It is suspected from a short circuit the fire was caught.
