PANISAGAR, June 1 (TIWN): 37 years old driver Abdur Rahim Chowdhury died in a road mishap at Panisagar’s Baluchara area after his container car under Highway Transport Services hit with a 12 wheeler Truck.
The deceased is a resident of Assam's Laxmipur area was in the vehicle bearing number AS 11BC7823 whereas Dipak Das was in the 12 wheeler vehicle carrying number NL O1L 3083. Dipak Das was on way to Agartala from Churaibari. Dipak Das is a resident of Udaipur, Maharani.
Both the car in high speed lost control over driving and met with the accident, although Dipak Das claimed he had no fault and was on the right side with a minimum speed. Das also said, he tried to save the Truck from the accident and gave enough space to pass but as the Truck was out of control and high speed, so the accident happened.
A case was registered in Panisagar PS, Case No-26/22 and charges of 279/337/304(A)/427 have been imposed. Police took locals' statement also.
