All India Congress Committee Secretary Szarita Laitphlang before media said, “We have visited Bishalgarh Central jail where our 8 workers were detained on fabricated cases, and they were kept in Judicial Custody. But when we went to meeting Point, our women worker Malbika, her hb% went down but no medical facility was given, not any Blood Test was done. Besides 2 of our workers are ill there, and Medicines were sent from their home”.

Szarita Laitphlang said, “In Jail 700 gm rice have to give but the govt bring it down to 500 gm, besides no medical facilities are there”

She alleged that the Canteen in the Central jail remains in terrible shape as there is no provision for eating, and only rats can be seen in the Canteen.
