Agartala, Dec 29 (TIWN): The broadband services provided by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) were collapsed across Tripura for long time since yesterday. While many of official works are stalled in private and government sectors, a vast number of BSNL broadband services could not access internet since yesterday.

The disruption caused serious communication problem in private, government, business and security sectors as BSNL has been the largest internet service provider in the state. Disruption of BSNL broadband service across the state had an unfavorable impact on the users.

“In the absence of BSNL broadband services, our business is being affected,” said a BSNL customer who runs a cyber café in Agartala, adding that he has already registered a complaint with the BSNL authorities.

A communiqué inside BSNL said that due to some technical faults the broadband services provided by BSNL were collapsed for a short-while. At present all the services of BSNL are become operational, he said.

Meanwhile, some users of BSNL mobile phone service in the capital city- Agartala informed; BSNL services are remained very poor over the past few days. Even in case of emergency, the BSNL mobile users often fail to communicate with their destinations due to poor network service provided by BSNL.
