AGARTALA, July 8 (TIWN): Two people were injured in a head-on collision between a bike and a BSF vehicle. One seriously injured. The incident took place in Kamalasagar Pal Chaumuhani area.

It is learned that a speedy bike registered Number- TR01AQ 4607, which was heading from Kamalasagar, lost control and collided head-on with BSF's vehicle registered number-TRO1B 0225. Biky Sarkar and Bhavajit Sarkar, resident of Lankamura area of Agartala were seriously injured in the accident.

Upon receiving the accident news, Madhupur PS, police rushed to the spot and recovered the injured from the spot. Meanwhile, the severely injured, Biki Sarkar was taken to the Madhupur Hospital, as his condition deteriorated he was referred to GB hospital.

However, Police have arrested the bike rider, Bhavajit Sarkar

Local people who witnessed the accident said that the bike was at reckless speed.
