AGARTALA, 2 July (TIWN): Two died and 3 injured after a Bolero car met with an accident lsoing control on the National Highway. The incident took place in the area adjacent to Dashami Riang Para under Shantir Bazar sub-division at around 2 pm on Thursday night.
The accident occured due to reckless driving.
Reportedly, the driver lost control due to high-speed and the car fell into a ditch from the National Highway.
On hearing the loud noise the local people came out of their houses and reported to the fire station and the Manpathar outpost.
After hearing the news, fire department personnel and police forces rushed to the spot and rescued five people. They were taken to the Shantir Bazar District Hospital.
The on duty doctor at the hospital declared two dead and the other three injured were shifted to Agartala GB Hospital as their condition was critical.
The Bolero car registered number-TR01AY0576. The injured and killed have not been identified yet.
It is suspected that they are all residents of other states. However, police are trying to find out the identity of the deceased and injured persons.
