AGARTALA, June 3 (TIWN): Tripura's most famous school, located in the heart of the capital city Agartala Netaji Subash Vidyaniketan has been looted many times in last few years. Amid Corona Curfew, thieves go unstoppable from their illegal entries in Govt and Public properties. Although Agartala Police have been ahead of all other areas' police in arresting civilians for curfew violations and the state has seen how an employee was harassed by NCC PS Police just because he denied to pay on spot but when it comes about crime controlling, police are failed even before petty level criminals like thieves. Today also, in Netaji school, a loot incident took place just a few days after the school had lodged another case of theft. Electronic items have been mostly taken today. Talking to the media, a teacher has expressed extreme resentment as many theft incidents have taken place in this school.

Across Tripura also, for the past few years massive theft incidents have increased.

Report shows that people in Tripura can not leave homes empty for a single day as locally based thieves gangs operate the incidents mostly.  Success rate of recovery in such cases is very low.

Under Biplab deb Govt famous temples of the capital city have also been looted.
