AGARTALA, May 4 (TIWN): Alleging BJP Govt is failing to take action against real culprits in Bharat Ratna Club Secretary Vicky murder case, Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman said, “Only some Bali-Ka-Bakra (scapegoats) are getting arrested and real people will never be arrested. “They (BJP Govt) can not take action against real culprits because the culprits are engaged in fund-raising. Just recall, how many times the club secretary was changed ?”
“Pradyot Dhar Chowdhury is a kind of donkey figure in the case. But we will not believe in this theory,” said Barman.
The statement came from Sudip Barman after police arrested Pradyot Dhar Chowdhury and a 23-year-old girl Susmita Sarkar in connection to Usha Bazar’s Bharat Ratna Club Secretary Vicky murder case.
Police first arrested a man named Pradyut Dhar Chowdhury in this case. After interrogating Pradyot Dhar, Susmita Sarkar’s name came out.
The motive of the crime was not revealed by police yet.
Susmita Sarkar, D/O-Prangopal Sarkar of Bhubanban area, was arrested by the police today and taken to court seeking a ten-day police remand.
