Agartala, Dec 03 (TIWN): The Tripura Government Mechanical Workers’ Union (TGMWU) today conducted 23rd biennial conference at the Mechanical Workshop Complex in Agartala. During the conference a 5-member president secretariat and a 4-member managing committee were constituted. The conference was inaugurated by the member of working committee, TECC- Kamal Krishna Bhowmik.

The welcome address was delivered by the chairman of the preparatory committee- Ashesh Debroy while the secretary of TGMWU- Nityananda Datta and the treasurer Shayamal Roy respectively offered secretarial and expenditure reports in the conference.

Member of advisory committee, TECC- Amal Chaterjee and former member of central committee- Gopal Chakraborty graced the dais as key orator and special speaker respectively. During the meeting, the members of the TGMWU have initiated various programmes.
