AGARTALA, Jan 30 (TIWN): Tripura BJP led State Govt which was very sympathetic towards SSA, RMSA teachers before 2018 election and promised to regularize them in BJP’s written script of “Vision Document”, has recently taken U-Turn to its stand and said, SSA’s regularization is complicated due to various reasons and at the same time blamed the previous Govt. When an SSA teacher filed case in High Court for regularization, Govt was okay in its stand at the initial level but it soon changed its stand and submitted fresh affidavit saying, regularization is not possible for now. This incident has generated much resentments among the teachers of SSA.Reportedly, the Govt submitted affidavit was cancelled by the High Court in the case. On 27th January in a bench of Justice A. A. Kureshi and Justice Arindam Lodh this affidavit was rejected, asking the Govt to make a fresh regularization policy by 21 days. As a result, the issue of SSA teachers are still hanging without solution.

Many of the teachers are not getting salaries regularly whereas and paying them according to the previous pay-system as the Left Govt which was before Assembly Election called by Ratanlal Nath as “Crime” and also according to rule, the teachers must get salaries on regular basis.

On 27 January, 2020, High Court of Tripura cancelled the state government led newly submitted affidavit copy in Manoj Kumar Debbarma filed case which case (Case number is 212/2016(WP) and also court ordered the state government to make a policy how to regularise the SSA employees within 21days.

Before and after the election government promised the SSA employees to regularize them soon after voted to power but till now the state government is not regularized SSA employees. Now,the SSA employees are only eying to court case instead of the state government, said an SSA Teacher.

In social media, the SSA teachers expressed extreme disgust over Govt’s attitude towards them, whereas before election, it was so positive to the SSA teachers and shed crocodile-tears.
