SANTIR BAZAR / BAIKHORA, Jan 24 (TIWN): A person was arrested with huge amounts of contraband items in Tripura, South District.

The police raid police led in a joint attempt of Baikhora and Santir Bazar PS conducted at around 8.30 pm on Thursday at the Purba para area of the Santir Bazar subdivision.

The owner of the house Swapan Malakar was arrested. Police said, contraband items like white power, brown sugar, tablets were recovered from him worth of Rs. 1 lakh at least.
