AGARTALA, Jan 22 (TIWN): Petrol prices in Agartala have been turning more volatile, as prices of crude oil have been showing a firm trend.

Petrol price in Agartala on Wednesday recorded ₹ 75.36 (22nd January 2020). Diesel price is now Rs. 70.15.

The rupee has also moved lower against the dollar, which has made petrol prices in Agartala more expensive than before.

It is hoped that the government can reduce excise duties, so as to enable rates to become more cheaper in the coming days.
