AGARTALA, Jan 20 (TIWN): Neither CPI-M, Congress nor BJP, no political party works for Bengalis at all. Today it clear after local Bengalis left homeless who once helped Brus to stay in Tripura’s Kanchanpur and Bengalis themselves now have become refugees but no political party is standing with them, such has been alleged by Amra Bangali Party in a press meet.

Referring 150 families left scared, homeless at Kanchanpur who are residing there much before the Brus came, Amra Bangali party said that BJP Govt is using “ghee” in one eye and in other eye “oil”.

Amra Bangali party further said, from CPI-M era such practice had been started and still the same politics is going on.

“The terrorists were welcomed with garlands and provided all facilities but today attacked local Bengali families became refugee in own state. CM visited Kanchanpur but did not meet the Bengali families. Brus have been welcomed but now what about the Bengalis whose everyting was destroyed ?”, asked Amra Bangali.

They further asked the Govt to compensate them, rehabilitate them and also to give them a Govt job per family who are suffering from massive damages.
