AGARTALA, Jan 16 (TIWN): Police now and then arrests people of the State, based on Facebook posts and Social Media updates, only to satisfy political retaliation. They are making continuous efforts to satisfy and please the ruling BJP Govt under leadership of Biplab Deb. Moreover if any post or comment comes from opposition party supporters, then immediate actions are taken against the person.

High court Chief Justice adjourned order on Congress activist Arindam Bhattacharjee, also gave verdict in favour of Lipika Pal, who was addressed to the court for attending a Political gathering being a govt employee and was suspended from Job. High Court Chief Justice A. Khureshi mentioned in his verdict that everyone has a right to attend political gatherings and no one can be declared as political activist based on Social Media posts.
Arresting opposition party supporters and workers can be used to gain limelight in the media and create harassing situation for a certain period of time but the actual output is Zero. 
What is most unfortunate that where crime rate has tremendously increased in the state, incidents of theft, robbery, women related crimes, rapes, Cannabis farming, Drug trafficking are at its peak, there the police in “Diamond era” is busy exploring Facebook and Social Media arresting the people of silly matters and has no time to fight and arrest the actual criminals behind serious matters. Innocent common man, opposition party supporters are arrested when they excess their democratic right and express their views and thoughts. 
The police who earns their salary on taxes of people, should effortlessly work in making Crime free Tripura State and establish proper law and Order situation in the State rather than acting as puppets of ruling BJP Govt.
