AGARTALA, Jan 14 (TIWN): In another brutal attack on the opposition, Tripura ruling BJP activists have injured one CPI-M Youth activist at Salgarah, Udaipur Biswajit Debnath. Former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has met him today at GB hospital.

Manik Sarkar told media after meeting him, he is not the first one who was attacked in the recent time, but there are many like him. Sarkar commented, the state is moving towards the darkest zone day by day and it is happening under both a same Chief Minister who is also the Chief of this violent party.

Biswajit Debnath was was beaten to severe injuries in his own area Salgarah on January 11.

Manik Sarkar said, as Biswajit is brave, so he survived because all the injuries were done on his head.

Meeting him, Manik Sarkar told Biswajit not to keep any hidden anger against teh attackers and then only he can become a big person. 

From Udaipur Gomati District hospital he was referred to GB hospital on that night. Total 24 stitches were given on his head.

Two BJP activists Haradhan Sarkar and Rajesh Pal have beaten him asking why did he go to late Babul Bhadra’s home with former CM Manik Sarkar ?

On last Friday, when Manik Sarkar visited expired CPI-M leader late Babul Bhadra’s home, then local CPI-M activists were also with Sarkar including Biswajit Debnath which has resulted in this murder attempt attack by BJP miscreants.
