AGARTALA, Jan 13 (TIWN): Udapiur Police filed a suo moto case against former Minister Badal Choudhury, MLA Ratan Bhowmik, former MLA Madhav Saha, ADC executive member Joy Bahadur Jamatia, Manik Biswas, Dibakar Chakraborty, Partha Karmakar on 25th July 2018 after a rally was held at there.

But surprisingly, when the rally was attacked by BJP, police filed case against Leftist leaders.

The rally was attacked by BJP goons, stone pelted but after one day of the rally, police filed case against Leftist leaders.

Today Udaipur CJM has acquitted all of them. Advocate Raghunath Mukharjee represented the Leftist leaders in Court.

On that time after the incident, TIWN correspondent developed an argument over phone with the SDPO why Police didn’t lodge any case against the BJP goons at there ? On that time, the police officer claimed, CPI-M leaders had all faults as police asked them not the walk the rally. However, today with the verdict once again it is proven that from the very beginning, Police started to work as faithful to ruling BJP party, which continues till today and West PS’s alleged murder case is another proof.
