AGARTALA, Jan 13 (TIWN): BJP MLA, Ex-Health Minister Sudip Barman has asked the Govt to make the CCTV footage public immediately of January 11 night when Sushanta Ghosh died and police claimed that Sushanta committed suicide.

 “Govt must release CCTV footage first or Public will lose trust on Police”, said Sudip Barman while addressing media at Lankamura custodial alleged murder victim Sushanta Ghosh’s home.

Referring the abnormal death Sushanta Ghosh in West Agartala PS’s Police custody, Sudip Barman reminds Chief Minister Biplab Deb that he too has a son !

“Except Home Minister, Biplab Deb is also a father………….so I hope investigation will be taken seriously and neutrally”, Barman added.

He termed the unnatural death of Sushanta Ghosh as “Complete violation of Human Rights”, adding, “Before investigation, propagating the incident as suicide is another crime”. 

MLA Asish Saha was too present with Sudip Barman in the visit.
