AGARTALA, Jan 10 (TIWN): Even top feminist writer Taslima Nasrin said, she is proud of being Bengali which has no community except one identity that is Bengali. She cited example, if Bengalis were divided on basis of religions then a the great “Bhasha Andolon” in Bangladesh would not happen.

Many Muslims and Hindus came on road to fight for their mothertongue Bengalis which revolved into “Bhasha Andolon”. But today Bengalis are divided into Muslim Bengalis and non-Muslim Bengalis while giving citizenship.
