AGARTALA, Jan 8 (TIWN): Petrol Prices have been turning more volatile, as prices of crude oil have been showing a firm trend. At the same time , crisis in the petrol pumps are felt acute. Tuesday, Wednesday’s petrol price remained Rs. 76.32 and in semi-urban areas Rs. 77. It is leading massive commodity prices in State along with the whole country. When state is suffering from crisis, black marketing of fuel has been alleged. Long queues before the petrol pumps observed today in Agartala. Petrol and diesel prices are revised daily,so you can loose much ,if you are travelling a long distance. The rupee has also moved lower against the dollar , which has made petrol prices in Agartala expensive than before. It is hoped that the government can reduce excise duties , so as to enable rates to become more cheaper in coming days .

Consumers expressed surprises about the unknown cause of petrol crisis.

The drastic change in the prices of essential commodities hits the rural economy of Tripura ,badly.Report says , Tripura in last two decades hasn't undergone such economic situations, poverty , starvation that led couple of poverty related suicides in the State .This situation made public utter the phrases ,"previous days are no more","It's hard to even arrange the both ends meet","No work"etc .

In the survey of TIWN , talking with common people ,one vendor said with grief ,"We are running at huge losses . people are asking if we are increasing the rate of vegetables but we also have to buy it in high rates and for the sake of living we are selling them by having 5-10 Rs profit.Days are becoming miserable to us . To arrange two times rice have become the toughest job .And there is no one to listen to us ."

This is however a part of National recession that the Country is Undergoing in BJP era where unemployment have become the massive problem across all over the country. But no solution has been implemented to minimize this huge problem which is leading the life of common people towards constant misery.
