AGARTALA, Jan 7 (TIWN): CPI-M has conducted statewide rallies in support of 8th January Strike. Other organizations, banking sectors have also called for strike observations.

The strike is a part of national programme, called by 10 trade unions, supported by students organization and others too.

Along with working class’s demands, the strike has announced as an agitation against CAA.

On yesterday massive rally led by former CM Manik Sarkar was conducted in Agartala in support of strike.
