AGARTALA, Jan 3 (TIWN): Assam Rifles organised a cleanliness drive as part of ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ at Abhoynagar, Agartala, District West Tripura on 03 Jan 2020. The event was aimed to sensitise the local populace about the importance of clean, hygienic and healthy surroundings and living conditions . 50 locals participated in the cleanliness Drive.

During the Cleanliness Drive, after coordination with civil administration dustbins were placed at various places to ensure all round cleanliness of the area. A lecture was also organised to sensitise people about the subject. 

Assam Rifles has been organising such events to spread  the message of ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ to all areas of the state.
