AGARTALA, Dec 30 (TIWN): As fresh recruitments were called for Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) supervisor post under Social Welfare Dept. thus the previous job aspirants who became overage due to cancellation of recruitment were brutally victimized. According to report the Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) conducts combined competitive examination for Misc posts( a scheduled examination) frequently and the last-advertisement for which was published in 2017 but it was postponed two times in that very year. But when the BJP Got came in power, at last it was cancelled in April 2018. Around 30,000 candidates applied for this exam and most of them have been longing with anticipation to sit for this dream examination so that their preparation and expectations do not go in vain. But instead of looking into the pending recruitment, Govt has decided to recruit fresh whereas among the previous candidates many turned overage.
According to the report 165 posts of ICDS Supervisor are going to be filled through a recruitment agency other than TPSC (copy attached), a symbol impartiality and faith of millions of people of this state.
That, long delay of about 3 years in conducting a scheduled examination is a big blow to the aspirants of this state.
“The Government could kindly look into this matter with sympathetic point of view so that "Tripura Competitive Exams" is conducted by TPSC at the earliest date and 165 posts of ICDS Supervisor are in no case filled through any recruitment agency other than TPSC, a symbol impartiality and faith of millions of people of this state”, a person representing the victims said.
