Left front’s 8 days long protest from January 1st, Strike on January 8

AGARTALA, Dec 29 (TIWN): Ahead of 8th January’s strike nationwide called by 10 trade unions, week-wide protests to be launched by 5 Leftist parties against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), National Register of Citizens (NRC), National Population Register (NPR) and other issues.
The protest will be also subjected to slowdown issue, poverty, worklessness situations of India.
The 5 Leftist parties are : CPI-M, CPII, CPIM(L), Forward Bloc, RSP.
In a press release the Party chiefs have announced about this week-wide protest which will be organized ahead of 8th January protest.
