NEW DELHI / AGARTALA, Dec 27 (TIWN): In a move against the unconstitutional drive of the Central Govt and to discuss about the existing problems which are being faced everyday across India and what next coming in the upcoming days, 13th national conference under All India Lawyers (ALU) was held.
This 13th National Conference was necessitated at a time when Country is facing unprecedented challenges and the Judiciary and Justice Delivery system is confronted with the problems of its ineffectiveness to provide justice economic, social and political to the citizens of the country on one hand and threats to its independence from within and without including the executive.
Among the discussed issues, few issues were as the Govt. of India has recently introduced Citizenship Bill, before the Parliament. This amended Act has specifically excluded the Muslims community which is entirely against the spirit of the constitution and it is against the mandate of Articles 14 and 21.
Haribal Debnath, Secretary Tripura State Committee along with 6 others have attended in the 13th National Conference at Kochi and the programme will be continued 27, 28, 29 Dec 2019. Advocate Bhaskar Debbarma also present in the National Conference.
