AGARTALA, Dec 27 (TIWN): Assam Rifles conducted a Lecture on "BETI BACHAO BETI PADHAO" at Laxman Para, Udaipur, Gomati District on 27 Dec 2019 with an aim to uplift womens status in the society and educate masses on the important role played by women in shaping future generations. The immensely important contribution of women in society was highlighted through the lecture.

140 local villagers including 80 ladies and 20 children attended the informative lecture. 

The event org by Assam Rifles was appreciated by locals and school authorities. The contributions of AR towards society will further strengthen bonds between locals and security forces.
