AGARTALA, Dec 23 (TIWN): Former Health Minister ,MLA Sudip Roy Barman had announced a protest rally on 3rd January against increasing "Crime against women" in Tripura . In a rare move ,when the whole ruling Ministry decided to stay tongue-tied ,Barman stated ,one can not sit at home anymore keeping silence and in mute-mode as times for patience have crossed.He has announced a massive protest on 3rd January , 2020 demanding 'Safety for women'.

Barman said ,"I condemn , express my deep lothe to the rapist ,such rapists are mentally sick and imbalanced ,can not be called as human at all."

The rally will proceed on 3rd January from Agartala Ravindra Bhawan premises at 11am and Sudip Roy Barman has called people from all the sections to join this rally and raise voice against the increasing crime against women.

The crime against women has drastically been increasing day by day under 20 months of Tripura's JUMLA BJP Govt. Another brutal rape case was been revealed two weeks ago,a girl of 17 got kidnapped , tortured and raped for two months constantly and set on fire after that .But ,no strict action is been taken by the Government to stop such increasing criminal activities against women.
