AGARTALA, Dec 21 (TIWN): Brutal rape incident which has shocked the whole state led Political party leaders also to rush to the hospital to meet the victim family. After visiting, Congress members told media that they could not meet the victim as her condition remains yet critical. BJP’s Mohila Morcha leaders also visited the GB hospital where is right now the victim is admitted. All the political parties have condmened the incident and said all are with the rape survivor and her family. Tension erupted after this minor girl of 15 years old was kidnapped while returning from school, gangraped and thrown on road.The survivor’s severe injured body was recovered from Thakurmura graveyard, was hospitalized and referred to GB hospital further. Her condition has been informed as very serious.The incident took place at Sonamura. A class-IX student while returning from school was kidnapped in a car.
It was her mathematics examination and after exam wen she was returning to home at around 3 pm a black colour Alto car kidnapped her and in evening the miscreants kicked her from the car, which was observed by locals.
She was unconscious and it has been guessed that the miscreants thought her dead and thus thrown her on road.
Local people took her to Sonamura hospital and after primary treatment she was sent to Melaghar hospital and the referred to GB hospital.
The victim’s father is a daily worker. The girl’s statement could not be known yet as her condition is critical.
Crime against women, specially rape of minor girls have drastically increased in Tripura in last 2 years.
