AGARTALA, Dec 20 (TIWN): A minor girl was raped in Tripura’s Panisagar. FIR was lodged and the rape accused person was arrested.

The accused has been identified as Jewel Nath (Suman), who along with his friends help took the 14 years old girl in his home and raped her on 5^th December.

Accused Jewel’s home is at Dharmanagar’s West Radhapur village.

Immediately after the incident, pressure was given on the victim family to mitigate the issue secretly but the mother of the victim denied to compromise and filed FIR against the accused.
