AGARTALA, Dec 20 (TIWN): Tripura CPI-M State Secretary Gautam Das has slammed the verdict of Supreme Court of India on Ajodhya verdict.

Gautam Das raised question how after explaining in details and how the people were illegally involved in demolition of Babri mosque, SC asked Govt to make Ram Mandir ?

Gautam Das was addressing in a public gathering at Agartala which was called to protest against Citizenship Amendment Act.

On 9 November 2019, the Supreme Court, headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, announced their verdict; it vacated the previous decision and ruled that the land belonged to the government based on tax records. It further ordered the land to be handed over to a trust to build the Hindu temple.
