AGARTALA, Dec 11 (TIWN): Heavy resentments are fueling against BJP MPs, MLAs, Minister for supporting CAB whereas major portion of the Tiprasa community are stating totally against CAB. In last two days, tremendous protests took place across Tripura, which expanded till the Capital city Agartala. When regional parties are in indefinite strike against CAB, BJP has remained in support of CAB.“Joint Movement” committee leaders who are fighting against Citizenship Amendment Bill with an active participation in the Northeast Strike from Tripura, on yesterday evening followed various violent incidents made it clear that there is no hatred against any community’s people and there would be no violence inside state in next hours with any excuse but the sole aim of the protest is to bound the Govt of India to change its decision over Citizenship Amendment Bill’s (CAB) implementation in Tripura. During protest, the leaders said that the Govt of India has just insulted the voice of Tripura because even after meetings and so many requests, ultimately CAB was decided to be impose in Tripura against will of the major section of indigenous people.

Resentment of Anti-CAB agitators against IPFT : Although no regional party held any talk against BJP’s aligned IPFT but analysis reveals, IPFT’s failure to strongly condemn CAB in public and in last two days upset its people, even though IPFT activists are in strong protest but so far the main leaders, two Ministers’ stands are under cloud. Indeed, how after recent Delhi visit of the IPFT leaders, CAB was so easily implemented it has triggered question. By imposing CAB against IPFT’s objection, BJP has proven how much the BJP does care about its own political partner’s demands and sentiments.

Before the Lok Sabha election, when Union Home Minister Amit Shah raised CAB issue in Parliament and said Northeast to be kept out of CAB it was thought in general but now various types of rules for various Northeast states have effected indigenous people’s will who are in the Anti-CAB stand. As nobody protested in Parliament against CAB, thus resentments went high against the BJP MP Rebati Tripura. Tripura has two MPs and one is reserved for ST (East Tripura), which belongs to MP Rebati Tripura.
