Violence reported at Manu Bazaar during NO-CAB Strike, massive property burning reported

DHALAI (Tripura), Dec 10 (TIWN): During No-CAB Strike across Tripura jointly led by various regional parties, violence and tension erupted after a clash like situation allegedly emerged in Manu Bazar (Dhalai).

Bikes, shops were found burnt, massive numbers of properties either burnt or vandalized, although till now the post-violence footage have been received by TIWN.

How such a situation erupted suddenly in defence it was said that BJP supporters allegedly attempted to stop the agitation which led the total violence. The defence statement remained unverified yet.

But TIWN has received a beaten NESO agitator’s photo who was bleeding.

On yesterday “Joint Movement” committee however promised that there will be no peace-violence and the protest will be in totally in democratic way.

No statement came yet by the joint committee about which party or which section of people were involved in today’s violence and what exactly happened before the violence.

On yesterday BJP’s ally IPFT supporters allegedly attacked officer goers, left 15 teachers injured during IPFT’s 12-hours-strike.

On the other side, non-IPFT all regional parties are observing indefinite strike and another party called 50 hours strike in the state and said, protest to be continued till Govt of India withdraw the CAB.
