Agartala, Dec 7 (TIWN): Opposition Party CPI-M demanded Rs. 600 MGNREGA Wage in Tripura followed by CPI-M in Kerala.
Khet Majoor Union of the CPI-M raised aforesaid demands at a Press Conference in Agartala. The Leaders urged use of machines in MGNREGA to be strictly prohibited as it directly affects the mandays.250 days of works in REGA and oither projects were also a part of their demands. The leaders subsequently put forward various guidelines under MGNREGA where a Govt. Is bound to give mandays to the people. CPI-M further asked implementation of the Pension Scheme with Rs.3000 minimum per person, once he/she reaches 60yrs of age, as after that working wont be permitted by the body.
On 10th December rally will be conducted at all the Districts, calling all the MGNREGA Workers to join the same and put forward their Demands.
