AGARTALA, Dec 4 (TIWN): BMS has beaten one top official of TNGCL named Joyjeet Chouhdury on Tuesday in the name of agitation.

Joyjeet Choudhury had to be hospitalized after the incident. A case has been registered in the local NCC PS.

However, nobody was arrested. Yesterday BMS had gheraoed TNGCL office saying they are being terminated without notice and during this protest, when Joyjeet Choudhury came outside to go to home for lunch, the BMS members severely beaten the officer.
