AGARTALA, Dec 1 (TIWN): Ex-Health Minister Sudip Barman expressed displeasure over blood crisis as the previously made Calendar is not followed after he was sacked from Health Ministry and the Health Dept was taken over by CM Biplab Deb.
Barman said that although when he was in Health Ministry and created a routine, calendarwise blood donation camps to mitigate blood crisis in blood banks, but so far that routine is not followed, leading blood crisis.
“I hope that structure will be re-followed and the blood crisis diminishes”, said Sudip Barman.
Barman was addressing in a blood donation camp organized by Sadvabna social organization at the IMA house in Agartala.

Sudip Barman said that all the political parties should be regardless any party identity will conduct blood donation camps in the state and there is no need that in one day so many blood donation camps has to be conducted but camps should be routinewise done so that people get blood when needed.
Barman’s statement came followed by massive blood crisis and recent death of a girl in blood crisis.
Earlier Sudip Barman when was holding Health Ministry conducted a programme with all institutions, organizations, political parties and made a routine to mitigate blood crisis and state’s blood crisis was diminished for a long time. Barman asked Doctors to start that routine again.
