AGARTALA, Nov 21 (TIWN): In allegation of attempt of raping a minor girl, an accused was arrested by Amtali Police on yesterday.

The accused was absconding since the FIR was lodged whereas on yesterday police from a forest in Kathaltali arrested him.

Police didn’t mention the name of the accused for now, but produced him before the Court.

Reportedly, in the absence of the minor girl’s mother this attempt was taken whereas public caught the accused red-handed.
