AGARTALA, Nov 7 (TIWN): CPI-M conducted a massive protest rally at Bagma today voicing against the torture on former Communist Minister Badal Chowdhury.
The protest kicked off from CPI-M party office at Bagma led by former Minister Ratan Bhowmik.
Badal Choudhury whose anticipatory bail petition was rejected in court remained critically ill in the ILS hospital from where he was forcefully brought in West Agartala Police Station on October 30th but his health turned more critical and admitted in GB again. He is undergoing treatment at there.
The overall incident caused two hear attacks to Badal Choudhury against whom CPI-M alleged a fabricated case was filed where no personal cash transaction could be shown by the Police.
