AGARTALA, Nov 7 (TIWN): Pratima Bhowmik versus. Biplab Deb political war now full blown as Pratima's aspiration for CM's post continues to mobilize more MLAs towards her candidature. Even before 2019 Lok Sabha Election, Pratima Bhowmik's gowal was to replace Biplab Deb from Chief Minister's Post as Pratima camp collected signatures from majority of BJP MLAs. After Pratima's elevation as West Tripura MP, Pratima not only opened her office in Agartala in Chief Minister's style, but started running a parallel administration across Tripura via her coterie of officials. Even in State BJP's Krishnannagar office, under Pratima's instructions, BJP spokesman Nabendu Bhattacharjee issued press releases claiming various State Govt's achievements as MP Pratima's achievements, even Biplab Deb's name was omitted. Apart from that in past 6 months, Pratima continued meeting all BJP Central Ministers personally, even claiming Delhi-Agartala Indigo direct flight operation as her achievement. Since April'2019 Pratima Bhowmik worked in parallel to Biplab Deb on all issues from direct flight service to new Train services to various Central Govt schemes.

State BJP's internal sources reported that Pratima Bhowmik already managed to get support of BJP"s 27 MLAs including Biplab Deb's bete-noire Sudip Roy Barman's faction. 

Pratima Bhowmik not only engaged a Delhi based a Social Media Company to boost her image in Social media but spending over Rs 10 lakhs per month for her image promotion across State.

Even many hopefuls for Minister Posts since Lok Sabha election so far didn't get any Minister post from Biplab Deb. Also BJP Govt in Tripura has no Minister from Scheduled Caste section which is turning a negative point for Biplab Deb as CM couldn't balance his Ministry with representations from all sections of voter base.

Apart from various shortcomings, Biplab Deb failed to address Tripura's massive unemployment problem, vision document promise of 50,000 Jobs in 1st year turned a Jumla promise to masses.

Tripura's Police force also fuming against Biplab Deb for treating State Police force in insulting manner, in October month alone in dictator style Biplab suspended 10 Police officials including IPS officer SP West Ajit Pratap Singh for no fault of Police officials in tracing Badal Chowdhury episode. 

In addition to Police, State Govt employees are venting their anger in private against Biplab Deb for not implementing 7th pay commisision.

10323 teachers already started statewide agitation as no hope remained under present BJP CM. 

Overall Statewide across Tripura, BJP already lost its mass support base, no new Govt Jobs, massive unemployment, high price rise, massive load-shedding, State splunged into doldrums.

Many State BJP leaders, including heavyweight leaders ( ex-Congress Lobby) lobbying for Pratima Bhowmik for Chief Minister's Post. 

Pratima Bhowmik also joined hand with Biplab;s another bete-noire Sunil Deodhar who was Biplab's mentor in State Politics.  

Alongwith Sunil Deodhar, State BJP heavyweights  MLA Sudip Roy Barman also pitching for Pratima's candidature as Biplab Deb sacked Sudip unceremoniously from Health Minister's post.

Pratima already ahead in game in Delhi as Pratima faction trying to convince Amit Shah, Ram Madhav to replace Biplab Deb to save BJP's political base in Tripura.

From Delhi sources, Biplab Deb's report card for past 19 months already being evaluated by Party's Central leadership. 

Pratima Bhowmik and Biplab Deb's internal clashes baresd open in public many times including recently Biplab's wife Niti ialongwith her NGO interrupted openly Pratima's inauguration in Cricket field.

If Pratima Bhowmik stakes claim for Chief Minister's post then she has to prove that she has 31 MLAs support in a 60 member State Assembly.
