AGARTALA, Nov 1 (TIWN): As National Highway is suffering due to no maintenance, DYFI, Dukli division has placed a deputation to the NH Division here, demanding immediate renovation of the roads.
A deputation was placed to Executive Engineer of NH Division Shankar Bhowmik by DYFI.
Addressing media before the deputation was placed, DYFI leader Arindam Sarkar said, “The Amtali bypass to drop-gate flyover, the road is in total deplorable shape. This road is a lifeline connecting with Gomati to South Tripura”.

“There is maintenance of the road, but when public started questioning over the BJP Govt’s failures and about their pending Vision Documents’ promises, the Govt has chosen to divert public attention by targeting an honest leader, who is one of the founder of Tripura’s development”, said Sarkar.
“The Govt is going to complete 20 months and when public are asking questions over 50,000 Govt jobs, missed call jobs then, they started various dramas. Lots of drama were seen with flyover also but when public talking against the Govt openly then it started attempts to harass the opposition leader, but they can not escape without answering the public”, he said.
It can be pointed here that not only Amtali but across Tripura, statewide deplorable roads have turned lives miserable, whereas Govt is under allegation of Tax-scam led by PWD where it promised super-class roadways across Tripura by taxing fuel but the roads conditions are more pathetic than ever.
Modi before the Election promised he will give a “Hira” to Tripura where “H” means Highways at super-quality and new, new routes.
