AGARTALA, Aug 28 (TIWN): East Agartala Police busted one robbers’ gang which was engaged in looting ornaments from people in broad day light. East Agartala Police said, the robbed items of 26th August from Bidyasagar bridge recovered by East Agartala Police. Till now 2 persons have been arrested.

Police official Manik Debnath said, at first police arrested one Ankita Das to whom the mobile phones were found which were snatched from a woman on 24th August.

Then after interrogating Ankita, police have come to know that the ornaments are kept in a home which belong to Jhumur, resident of Lal Bahadur Para.

Police is hoping a big gang’s expose by their arrests and followup interrogations.
