AGARTALA, Aug 21 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb has held a meeting with the high officials of various Dept today at Secretariat.The meeting was tilted in the banner ‘AGRAGATI’ (means proceeding towards development).

Police top officials and Chief Secretary also remained present in the meeting. 

Chaired the 'Agragati' meeting today with the higher officials, the Chief Minister has reportedly reviewed all recent ongoing projects as well as took opinions from the officials to work together more efficiently.

Also Deb asked the officials to randomly visit various projects on ground locations to check regular progress.

Recently Govt constituted various new depts including Planning Dept which is to deal with 1) Survey and data-base inventory, 2) Prioritization.

The discussion reportedly was focused on good governance  and development with proper planning.

Crucial issues like  1) Inclusive growth of Tripura, 2) Clean drinking water, 3) Doubling of farmers income, 4) Irrigation, 5) Infrastructure development and 6) Agriculture & Animal Husbandry were planned and discussed.
