AGARTALA, Aug 19 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb on the occasion of Tripura’s visionary King Maharaja Bir Bikram Manikya’s 111th birth anniversary said that the new Govt is working in direction of transforming Tripura according to the modern vision of the great King.
CM said, since the beginning, BJP Govt has been focused on developing Tripura and always has given due respect to the visionary King, either renaming of Agartala Airport after the King’s name or his dream to represent Tripura in different way than other states before the world.
“Nobody can deny the credit of the King for the state. BJP and its Govt decided to promote the King’s glory because he deserves it. He always invited artists from outside Tripura and developed the state with modernization and culture”, CM said.
CM repented that after partisan the developmental flow which was started by the King somewhere stopped, however, the BJP Govt is determined to develop Tripura.
CM further promised to beautify Tripura’s roads, tourist spot which will surely bring colours in coming days.
