AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, Aug 15 (TIWN): Addressing on the occasion of 73rd Independence Day Tripura CM Biplab Deb presented a fresh report of BJP Govt’s achievement in Pradahn Mantri Awas Yojna (PMAY).

CM said, “PMAY status was only 2.90% till March 2018 whereas 93% has been increased from then that means 100% coverage almost. Tripura has bagged in 5^th position among all states in India and in 2019 total 10,500 houses constructions have been targeted”.

“In last 6 months of 2019 total 139.67 lakhs mandays were given under MGNREGA whereas in 2017-18 in only175.96 lakhs were given completing 12 months”, he added.

“284.86 crores have been sanctioned for MGNREGA by 2019 by the central govt”, said CM.

“Govt has hiked MGNREGA wage from Rs. 177 to Rs. 192”, he told the mass.
