AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, Aug 15 (TIWN): On the 73rd Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced just like Article 370 was removed at Jammu and Kashmir, in the same way for nation’s development “One Nation / One election should be implemented”.

“This country has one nation, one constitution. Now a person from J&K can directly talk to the Delhi Govt (centre) and nothing will come in the middle. There should be also discussions about “One Nation, One Election”. This has to be brought in action for nation’s development”, said PM Modi.

One election’s meaning, there will be no Assembly Election in states even though Lok Sabha and Assembly Elections are known as the backbone of federal structure.
