AGARTALA, Aug 12 (TIWN): Muslim community’s people in Dukli, Icha Bazar in Agartala have alleged that they have been threatened by unknown people not to sacrifice cows on Kurbani Eid.

The locals came in massive protest saying they will not celebrate the Eid programme until they are allowed for Kurbani.

Police, TSR have been deployed in the area for safety issues.

A Muslim lady said, if they are not allowed for kurbani, then it should be announced in newspapers and TV channels, but should not be attacked personally.
