AGARTALA, Aug 11 (TIWN): Announcing a mass deputation to be placed before the Chief Minister of Tripura Biplab Deb on 14th August, terminated 10323 teachers have told media that it is only the “nationalistic” Govt i.e. BJP Govt and Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb can save them. 10323 teachers were terminated by High Court and Supreme Court due to recruitment-irregularities in the CPI-M Govt’s time and now they are working on ad-hoc basis tenure which will end on June 31, 2020. Teachers’ leader Bimal Saha while addressing media on Sunday at Agartala Press Club said, 10323 Karmahari Sangathan is not a political organization. It’s sole aim from beginning to end is the regularization of 10323 teachers and save their jobs. Bimal Saha has called all 10323 teachers to join the mass deputation with them so that the movement get stronger. 10323 teachers also demanded CBI investigation of 10323 teachers’ recruitment scam.

On 14th August the mass deputation programme will be organized and the teachers will meet CM Biplab deb with their demands. The teachers have called all people of Tripura to join the protest.

“There is no division among 10323 teachers. The teachers are undivided regardless graduates, under-graduates. Now, whether CM Biplab Deb will stay with the teachers or not, he has to decided that”, said Bimal Saha.

The teacher also announced that the teachers are moving to High Court as it was not teachers’ fault for this tragic consequences but the former Left Front had cheated the teachers.

“We have removed the Left Front Govt from the state due to its massive cheating with us. Before election, BJP promised to regularize us all in its Vision Document. So, we helped the party to come in power, but today the situation is against us. Day by day our tensions are increasing. So we urge the Govt to save our lives within the time. Govt must recruit us”, said Bimal Saha.

Earlier in 2014 High Court asked the then CPI-M Govt to appoint the petitioners to save 10323 teachers but the CPI-M Govt moved to Supreme Court and thus teachers lost their jobs.
