AGARTALA, Aug 11 (TIWN): Around 2000 employees will lose jobs under MGNREGA within December 2019, said a report.

It has been alleged that these employees are in contract basis, will not get their extension further.

In a GRS advertisement report it has been said that the 90% employees will not have age to re-apply for the jobs and it will be under critical situation of the law, but under the previous Govt regardless any age issue, their jobs were extended.

After the news was flashed in local media, tensions have gripped the MGNREGA employees.
