KAILASHAHAR, Aug 7 (TIWN): There are corruption allegations against Forest and PWD Dept in Kailshahar lodged by the local people.

The locals have told the matter SDM Bishal Kumar and urged the Govt to look into the matter.

Local people of Samarurpar Gram Panchayat under Chandipur block alleged that boundary pillar and fencing works which have been given aimed to save the Forest items was done in negligence and embezzlement.

The locals have alleged massive corruption after the pillars fell from the ground level and few are almost collapsing.

Pillars are cover only 4 inch underground and as a result the pillars are falling.

However, whether due to corruption or miscreants have done this it’s to be checked.

Local people have demanded good quality work in their area. Moreover in Govt works Bangladeshi cements are being used which have also created resentments.
