AGARTALA, Aug 6 (TIWN): Neighbour grandfather has allegedly raped a 9 years old girl in Tripura.

The incident took place at Khowai sub-division’s East Ganaki village when nobody was at the home.

The 52 years old man Ajay Das entered the room from the backdoor and raped her. The aunt saw Ajay Das while coming out of her room.

Her aunt rushed to her room and found her critical. Police have visited the home. 

Police led by SI Soman Deb IO bite are now investigating the case.
